ISO Recording
With the ATEM Television Studio HD ISO model, you can easily edit your live events thanks to its ability to record all inputs to separate video files. This feature provides 8 separate video input files with matching timecode and sync, and also records the program video into a separate master video file. Using any NLE software that supports multi-cam editing, you can easily edit your footage.
A DaVinci Resolve Project file is saved and linked to the input video files, allowing your live switching to be converted into an edit timeline that you can simply click to open. This feature makes it simple to re-edit your show with new color grades and updated graphics. Additionally, all audio is recorded into separate WAV files, giving you the ability to professionally remix your audio.
Remote Blackmagic Design Cameras
Another fantastic feature of the ATEM Television Studio HD ISO model is its capability to connect to remote cameras. With the ability to live stream in H.264 directly to the switcher, the
Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2, Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2, and
Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro cameras can be easily connected. If you're on the local network, you can simply select the camera in the input menu.
However, if the switcher is set to a fixed external IP address, an XML file with the camera settings can be exported to live stream from anywhere on the internet. Simply load the XML file into the camera to enable this feature. Moreover, the switcher offers camera control and tally, and program audio is sent back to the camera, which is ideal for live interviews.
Despite its compact design, the ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO boasts a range of powerful broadcast features that allow customers to create high-end live television. Customers have access to an advanced broadcast-grade switcher with built-in ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers, Fairlight audio mixer, DVE, still store for graphics, and much more. Most features can be easily operated from the front panel, while the free ATEM Software Control for Mac or Windows offers even greater functionality.
Users can choose from exciting transitions, such as dissolve or more dramatic effects like dip to color, DVE squeeze, and DVE push. Customers can even add a DVE for picture-in-picture effects with customized graphics. The switcher also includes media players that allow users to store graphics with alpha channels for titles and graphics that can be loaded as live video inputs. Customers can then live stream the results.

Full Input Standards Conversion
Each 3G-SDI input features an independent low-latency standards converter allowing inputs to be any combination of HD television formats. The switcher will convert inputs to the switcher's standard, and combined with input re-sync, this means you can simply plug in and it just works!
