Q: How is the TriCaster TC Mini different from the Mini Advanced?
A: TC Mini includes all the features of TriCaster Advanced Edition software and more. TC Mini is fully capable of running all Premium Access capabilities. TC Mini can support up to 4K UHD format. TC Mini is completely IP based with NDI on all inputs and outputs.TC Mini does not support WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity.
There is only a single model of TC Mini with no display in the case and is NDI-based. This offer for the TC Mini includes two adapters for use of HDMI sources. Two more can be optionally added.
Q: Does TriCaster TC Mini take HDMI sources directly?
A: Two HDMI to NDI input adapter modules with Power Over Ethernet are included and two more can be added. Using the adapters as needed makes HDMI integration simple and alleviates the issue of long cable runs with HDMI, which is often problematic.
Q: What about the video delay in HDMI cameras – can TC Mini delay audio to sync?
A: The TC Mini audio mixer includes per-input audio delay settings that can be configured to compensate for any upstream video delays.

A: Because there is no audio routing there is no mix minus configuration possible.

A: For the target customer, the most practical option is recording over USB 3.0. TC Mini includes several USB 3.0 ports on the rear panel and most high-speed external USB 3.0 drive systems should be suitable for dual-channel capture.

No. TriCaster Mini requires external power for operation.
