The Blackmagic Design UpDownCross 100G is a professional 1 RU IP video standards converter built for modern 100G broadcast environments. It provides simultaneous conversion of up to eight channels of SMPTE ST 2110 IP video, supporting SD, HD, and Ultra HD formats. With dual 100GbE QSFP28 interfaces and full SMPTE 2022-7 redundancy, the UpDownCross 100G ensures reliable signal delivery by converting IP video streams between different standards while maintaining uninterrupted operation.

Each IP video stream supports up to 16 channels of embedded audio, along with 10-bit 4:2:2 video and support for both Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 color spaces. Compatible with SMPTE ST 2110-20, ST 2110-21, ST 2110-30, and ST 2110-40 standards, it is designed for demanding live production, broadcast, and IP video workflows.

The compact 1 RU design features quiet front-to-back cooling and a user-friendly front panel with a 2.2-inch LCD display, control knob, and buttons for monitoring video, audio, timecode, and system status. Built-in speaker and headphone outputs provide convenient audio monitoring, while dedicated network control is available through an RJ45 NMOS control port. A USB-C connection supports local setup and firmware updates, and dual IEC C14 AC power inputs provide redundant power for mission-critical installations.
