Vizrt TriCaster Vizion Tower 44 NDI + 8 SDI I/O - Perpetual License
The Vizrt TriCaster Vizion Tower with 44 NDI inputs and 8 SDI I/O redefines live production by combining a fully software-defined switcher with both IP and legacy SDI connectivity. In a compact 4 RU tower chassis, Vizion ingests up to 44 simultaneous NDI video sources over a single Ethernet network while offering eight configurable 12G/3G/HD-SDI ports for seamless integration with existing broadcast gear. This hybrid architecture lets you deploy a mix of SDI and IP workflows today, with plenty of NDI capability as your facility evolves.
At its core, TriCaster Vizion’s modular hardware lets you choose the ideal CPU, GPU, and storage configuration to match your performance and budget requirements. The 8 SDI I/O card supports SMPTE ST 2082, ST 424, ST 425, and ST 292 standards, embedded audio, and bi-level or tri-level Genlock reference. Expansion bays allow easy addition of more SDI or IP interfaces, ensuring your system scales with future production demands without downtime.
The software switcher delivers up to eight Mix Effects (M/Es) rows and four independent media players, each with ultra-low-latency LiveMatte chroma keying and LiveSet virtual studio extensions. DataLink dynamic graphics pull real-time data from spreadsheets, sports APIs, and social feeds, while AI-powered Live Call Connect brings remote guests into the program via NDI with effortless one-click setup—no extra hardware required.
Native NDI transport carries video, audio, tally, and control over gigabit Ethernet, eliminating bulky cabling. With up to 56 NDI outputs—including program, preview, and multiview channels—you can deliver feeds to screens, recorders, and streaming services instantly. NDI audio routing integrates with Dante™ and AES67 networks (via optional licenses), further streamlining signal flow in complex audio environments.
For facilities that still rely on SDI, the eight SDI I/O ports offer flexible routing, clean switching with re-clocking on every port, and support for HD and UHD formats up to 4Kp60. Embedded audio input/output and reference I/O keep your mix rooms and cameras locked in sync, while software-based audio mixing provides DSP-driven EQ, dynamics, and Talk Back across analog, USB, NDI, and Dante sources.
Viz Flowics, with its included three year subscription, is Vizrt's cloud-native graphics engine offering a 5 GB library of customizable HTML5 templates, animated overlays, and no-code data connectors. Pull in live statistics, social media feeds, weather, or stock tickers and author dynamic graphics directly in your switcher. Live Link renders any web content — dashboards, control panels, or scoreboards — straight into your program without external converters.
Built-in software audio mixing supports multichannel NDI audio, analog/digital I/O, USB streams, Dante, and AES67. Create multiple stereo and multichannel mixes, apply EQ, compression, and reverb, and route Talk Back to talent via intercom. An integrated 4-bus mixer with visual meters keeps sound levels balanced across complex productions.
Real-time monitoring is achieved with three customizable multiview layouts that display all sources, program outputs, graphics, and audio meters on single or multiple screens. Tally indicators, dynamic labels, safe-area guides, and on-screen scopes (waveform, parade, vectorscope) ensure everyone on set stays in sync and on cue.
Native social media publishing lets you stream and post directly to Facebook Live, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more. Schedule posts, embed hashtags, manage highlight reels, and repurpose live-switched content for on-demand distribution—all from within the TriCaster Vizion UI. Built-in video players automate clip playback, playlists, and countdown timers for live events.
Control Vizion your way: the drag-and-drop on-screen UI provides instant access to M/Es, transitions, keyers, mixer, media players, and macros. For tactile workflows, optional Vizrt hardware panels (4-Stripe, Flex Dual, and Flex) deliver motorized faders, illuminated buttons, and joystick-driven DVE control that map directly to the software’s state. The TriCaster Vizion Tower with 44 NDI inputs and 8 SDI I/O future-proofs your live production for years to come.
